Fettuccine (or Penne) Alfredo

Ingredients: 2 tbsp butter, 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 2 cups parmesan cheese

 

STEPS: Boil water. Add the pasta to the water and let it cook while making the alfredo sauce. Melt the butter in a skillet and then add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Then add the heavy cream and reduce the cream for 8-9 minutes. Add the parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning and stir until smooth. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and add a little pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Serve while it’s hot–the sauce will separate after a while.
