Banana Bread

Ingredients: 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup sugar, 3 ripe bananas, 3 tsp sour cream, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 cups flour, 2 eggs (Optional: You can also add walnuts, raisins, or chocolate chips.)

 

STEPS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and sugar. In a separate *small* bowl, mash bananas until chunky and mix with sour cream. Add the banana mixture to the butter mixture, along with the eggs. In another bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together. Add the flour mixture to the batter. Add the vanilla extract (this is when you would put in the walnuts, raisins, or chocolate chips.) Pour the finished batter into a prepared loaf pan. Bake for about 55-60 minutes. Let the bread rest for 10 minutes and then enjoy!
